Meet the Team

Deobrah Jones - Home Manager

Deborah joined Tabley House in the summer of 2024, bringing over 30 years’ experience in the health and social care sector. She believes that a career in care was her calling, as she is passionate about making a difference to others’ lives.

Prior to being a manager in the Older persons sector , Deborah worked both within the mental health and Learning Disability sectors. She began her career as a Care Assistant in 1987, supporting adults with mental health conditions and then after qualifying as a Registered General Nurse, worked for over 20 years supporting adults with a learning disability.

Deborah feels that taking up a position at Tabley House is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of committed and caring staff members who share the same vision.

Outside of work, Deborah loves to travel and has had the pleasure of travelling both far and near, with her favourite destination currently being Cambodia. She has three grown-up sons and three grandchildren who take up lots of her time - as well as five labradors!

Rachel Burke - Deputy Manager

Rachel is the Deputy Manager at Tabley House. She started her training at Wrexham Maelor Hospital in 1978 before becoming a fully qualified registered nurse. Rachel worked at the hospital for many years before taking a career break to raise her children and help her husband to run our family pub.

After a break, she decided about 10 years ago that to come back to nursing. After a year of working at Wrexham Hospital, she joined the team at Tabley House. Rachel worked as a registered nurse before being promoted to clinical lead and then to deputy manager. Rachel loves supporting the team at Tabley House to provide high-quality care to the residents. She says, "We are a family at Tabley."

Michelle Milne - Clinical Lead

Michelle is the clinical lead at Tabley House. She has been in post for over 3 years and loves working at Tabley; it is a very special and welcoming home. Tabley has a clinical team of registered nursing staff and healthcare assistants. The registered nursing staff have a range of qualifications including RGN’s, RMN’s and RNLD, the healthcare assistants are also all qualified within their field and have oodles of experience. The diverse range of qualifications and experience enhance our teams range of clinical skills in meeting individual resident needs.

Natasha Evans - Senior Administrator / Activities

Natasha started working at Tabley in 2005. Initially, she joined Tabley on placement during an apprenticeship in Health and Social Care for 12 months. In 2006 she took on a permanent role as an activities assistant.

During the last 17 years Natasha has worked in many roles at Tabley, from activities to reception, even to working in the kitchen when needed. She was then promoted to senior administrator and activities line manager following the successful completion of her level 3 Business and Admin support in Health and Social Care. Natasha's main roles now include managing both the administration staff and the activities team and making sure Tabley provides the best service for both the residents they care for and their families and loved ones.

Paul Gibbon - Head of Maintenance

Paul is the the head of maintenance at Tabley House. He has been in post for over 25 years and has a love for the building; its architecture and the challenges this brings. There is a team of four maintenance staff at Tabley and their aim is to ensure your environment is safe and welcoming.

Andrew Burke - Catering Manager

Andrew is the catering manager at Tabley House. He has been in post for over 12 months, but spent most of his working life in the hospitality industry, thus has a vast amount of experience. Tabley has a catering team of 6 who are there to provide you with a range of nutritious foods.

Claire Gibbon - Head Housekeeper

Claire is the head housekeeper at Tabley House Nursing Home. She has worked at Tabley House for almost 12 years, first as a care assistant, then in the housekeeping team. Prior to her current role, she worked as a social care home carer, and has experience working in schools and other nursing/residential homes in an ancillary capacity.

Claire thoroughly enjoys her current role ensuring the resident’s environment is a clean, warm, and comfortable home for them to live in, working alongside and supervising the housekeeping team and with other departments within Tabley.
