Folk singer entertains at Tupwood Gate

Residents at Tupwood Gate Nursing Home recently enjoyed a visit from a folk singer. Performing with an acoustic guitar he sang familiar songs that our residents joined along to.

Reggae Performance at Tupwood Gate

Tupwood Gate have been continuing their live performances with a Reggae singer earlier this month. Friday 1st July was Reggae day and Jean – Claude joined the residents and sang some classic Reggae hits!

War hero celebrates his 100th birthday at Tabley House

Ernest Morris, Tabley House Nursing Home’s very own war hero celebrated his 100th birthday on the 28th June. Two days earlier Ernest’s family arranged for a surprise birthday party at the Tabley Tea Room, next to the nursing home.

Morris Dancing comes to Tupwood Gate

Tupwood residents recently enjoyed a real treat when a troupe of Morris Dancers brought traditional English folk dancing to the nursing home.
