Tupwood Gate Nursing Home held a 1950’s themed afternoon tea on Saturday 21st July to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice.
The afternoon was very busy with raffles, tombola and the all-important Pimms Hut, which was very busy on this hot afternoon. Staff pitched in with homemade items for sale.
A resident’s family member arranged for the Red Arrows to fly over. ‘Elvis’ was also in the building getting everyone up dancing.
In addition to staff and residents there was a really good turnout of family and friends. Everyone enjoyed a lovely afternoon and in total raised £185.00 for the charity. Well done everyone!
